TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Crews are on the scene of a fire at Heritage Healthcare Center in Tallahassee.
A WTXL source says the fire happened at Heritage Health Care Center on 3101 Ginger Dr.
They say the fire started in the laundry room. The source says it was around 9:45 a.m. when a dryer caught on fire.
Heritage evacuated all 172 residents.
The source also says that one of the long-term care units is still being evacuated, affecting about 50 to 60 residents. They've been moved to the dining room.
No injuries have been reported. Ginger Road was closed coming from Miccosukee Road.
Leon County EMS, TPD and TFD responded to the scene.
