COLUMBUS, MS (Mississippi News Now) - A Columbus Air Force Base spokesman confirms a military plane has crashed in north Mississippi.
Lowndes County EMA Director Cindy Lawrence says two crew members ejected and are safe. They were found near Barton Ferry Road in Lowndes County.
The plane wreckage is near that location and very close to the Columbus Air Force Base.
Officials could not confirm how many were on board or if there were any injuries after the plane occupants ejected.
