MIRAMAR, Fla. -- Officials say four baby ducks have been rescued from a South Florida storm drain.
The Miami Herald (http://hrld.us/1Gl7QFL) reports that authorities say Miramar Fire Rescue helped reunite a mother duck with her four babies, who somehow fell through the cracks of a storm drain Tuesday.
Officials say the rescue came after a resident spotted the ducks stuck in the drain in Miramar.
Miramar Fire Rescue Lt. Jose Gregorisch says firefighters removed the grate and used a fishing net to get the ducks to dry land.
Officials say it was not clear how long the ducks had been down there.
