WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol said a Crestview driver and her passenger suffered injuries when her car left US 319 and collided with another car on US 98.

Carolyn Myler, 74, of Crestview, was charged with careless driving and received minor injuries in the accident Friday evening, an FHP news release said.

Myler's passenger, Joshua Myler, 28, of Crestview, received serious injuries.

Troopers said Carolyn Myler's car was traveling northeast on US 319 just west of US 98 while a car driven by Louann Clark, 31, of Crawfordville was traveling south in the southbound lane of US 98 just north of US 319.

Carolyn Myler's car left the northbound lane of US 319 as it curves right and entered the southbound lane of US 98 just ahead of Clark's car, troopers said. Myler's front bumper collided with Clark's bumper.

Clark was not injured, FHP said.
