WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says that a man turned himself in on the Fourth of July for a hit-and-run involving three cars.
FHP reports that the crash crash happened on Saturday at approximately 11:45 p.m.
They said that car driven by Michael Poucher of Crawfordville was parked at a home on Wakulla Arran Road with another car right behind him.
Troopers said that Poucher started reversing without properly checking and hit the car behind him.
While trying to drive away from the crash, Poucher side swiped another car.
FHP says that multiple witnesses saw both crashes and gave a detailed description of Poucher's car, ultimately leading to him turning himself in on July 4th.
He was issued two criminal citations:
- Leaving the scene of a crash with property damage
- Careless Driving
