CRAWFORDVILLE, FL (WTXL) - The southbound lane of Crawfordville Highway is closed after a crash involving a school bus.
According to the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened just after 8 a.m. Friday morning on Crawfordville Highway near Pinewood Street.
According to reports a Chrysler Town and Country Van crashed into the school bus while it was stopped at a red light at the intersection of US 319 and Pinewood St.
Deputies say the crash caused severe damages to the van involved but there were no life threatening injuries to anyone involved in the crash, including the children on the bus.
The driver of the van which was a Chrysler Town and Country van, was taken for medical treatment of minor injuries and has since been released, deputies say.
As of 10:15 a.m. the roadway is clear and traffic is flowing through the area.
