VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Three lanes of I-75 near Valdosta were closed for two hours Thursday morning because of a crash involving 4 vehicles.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, Tacarea Donaldson missed her exit and slowed down in her lane, trying to let a tractor trailer pass in the right lane so she could get over.

A vehicle behind her, driven by Peter Goranov, attempted to swerve around her but hit Donaldson's vehicle on the driver's side rear, says Troopers.

A third vehicle, driven by Goranov's wife Galia Tzolova, hit Donaldson's car while it was spinning. Troopers say Goranov's vehicle lost one of its tires and was then hit by a tractor trailer driven by Joel McMillian.

Goranov's vehicle next hit a guard rail and troopers say it was then hit again by the same tractor trailer.

Donaldson was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and troopers say no other injuries were reported.

Troppers say Goranov was however trapped in his vehicle and had to be extricated.

Authorities issued Donaldson a citation for impeding the flow of traffic.
