JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a serious crash in Jackson County around 10:49 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5.
Troopers say a 74-year-old woman is in serious condition after crashing her SUV into a semi truck while trying to exit from I-10 at the last minute.
FHP says the accident happened at the State Road 8 eastbound exit ramp.
Both the SUV and the semi truck hit the guardrail and overturned.
The 74-year-old was taken to the Jackson County Hospital and is facing improper lane change charges.
