Couple Charged in Fight at Suwannee River Jam

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL) - A man has turned himself in for a fight at the Suwannee River Jam. 

Sheriff Sam St. John says Richard Craven surrendered Wednesday morning.

According to the jail, he's charged with aggravated battery.

The sheriff says Craven's wife, Cynthia Lynn, turned herself in Monday and is charged with aggravated battery with great bodily harm. 

According to Cynthia Lynn's affidavit, on May 5 around 2 a.m., she hit Loretta Thomas with broken glass bottle at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. This is all based on witness statements, surveillance footage, and injuries.

The sheriff says at one point, Richard Craven got involved. 

The report states that the injuries caused permanent disfigurement to Thomas and left her with deep cuts.

SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL)--A fight breaks out at the Suwannee River Jam. 

Suwannee County Sheriff Sam St. John says the victim was airlifted to Gainesville with cuts to her ear, shoulder, and side. He says the victim will also have to have plastic surgery after receiving injuries to her face.

The suspect was taken to the hospital in Live Oak.  The sheriff says the fight involved beer bottles. Names have not been released.
