BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL)--Unusual amounts of pseudoephedrine that were being purchased at Bainbridge pharmacies is what started an investigation into a couple a few months ago, and now they're charged with manufacturing meth.

Decatur County investigators say they got a call from a pharmacy Wednesday, saying Chris and Amanda Smith were there again buying pills. The same day, investigators also learned the couple bought Coleman camping fuel from Walmart, Last night, investigators tracked them down to Slough Loop Road. They watched them, walked up, and could see some items to make meth in plain view in a Chevy Trail Blazer.
