DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say they're trying to find volunteers to help care for more than 300 parrots seized during the investigation of an animal hoarding case.
DeKalb County officials say the birds were removed from a home in the Decatur area on July 13.
In a statement Thursday, county officials said volunteers are needed to assist with feeding, watering, cleaning, vacuuming and other tasks. They say no experience is necessary, but volunteers must not have pet birds in their homes.
