TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- As we approach Veterans Day, each week we're taking another look at ways you can pay respect in your community.
Joe West from Veterans Event Tallahassee was back on Sunrise Thursday morning, sharing the details of the traveling Cost of Freedom tribute.
It's a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall, and at 80,000 square feet, is 80-percent the size of the original in Washington, D.C. It also honors those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
This November, the Cost of Freedom display is making its way to Tallahassee. It's the first time it'll be in the area, and West worked for about two years to make it happen.
The Cost of Freedom tribute will be at Tom Brown Park November 6 though 11, and organizers are already looking for volunteers.
