TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — North Florida Medical Centers, a non-profit and federal qualified health center, has partnered with Leon County and LabCorp to provide free COVID-19 testing every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the North Monroe Medical Center.
"We've had over two-dozen people come through this morning," said Travis Coker, the director of Operations for North FL Medical Centers. "The testing is quite simple. It's just a nasal swab and I would encourage people to get tested because you really need to know about yourself. There's a lot of people that's going to test positive that have very little symptoms."
Testing is done in less than 10 minutes, and results are guaranteed within two to three days.
