TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Veterans over 65 who receive care at any North Florida/South Georgia Veteran Health System site can sign up for a COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday.

The Sergeant Ernest I. "Boots" Thomas VA Clinic (2181 East Orange Avenue Tallahassee, FL 3231-6144) is hosting a drive-thru COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Wednesday.

The clinic will run from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm or until supplies run out.

Any veteran over 65 who receives care at any North Florida/South Georgia Veteran Health System site can attend. Veterans must be enrolled and eligible for VA health care benefits and must be able to return to the same site for their second dose in 28 days.

Veterans who have received any other vaccination in the last 14 days or have any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms will not be vaccinated.

If you are thinking about attending the clinic, you are asked to follow COVID-19 vaccine signage to designated check-in. Drivers are also asked not to block intersections or road entry points.
