TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The CDA's Motorola computer system experienced technical troubles again. City officials tell us the system went down Friday around 5pm for about 40 minutes.

All calls were handled with no delays. Dispatchers were able to take calls using the "White Card method," where they write down information manually. It's uncertain why the system went down, but an investigation is ongoing. The CDA's director Tim Lee, is expected to provide a report on Monday.

The CDA has come under scrutiny in the last several weeks for its handling of several high profile cases. The three consolidated dispatch agency employees who were fired in relation to the death of Leon County Deputy Chris Smith spoke alongside their attorney a week ago claiming they were unfairly fired by the CDA.
