TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Employees at a local school say that a burglar took iPads and laptops they use to teach their students.

The robbery took place overnight on Wednesday, March 13, at Progressive Pediatric Development. The burglars reportedly broke into The Learning Center, a private school at the child care and therapy agency.

A staff member says five laptops and five iPads were stolen. She says that luckily some of the computers were locked up, so all of them weren't taken.

The employee says that teachers at the school are very upset, because the iPads and laptops were instrumental teaching tools for their students, some of whom have special needs.

Tallahassee police say that they can confirm that a burglary took place at the school, but they aren't confirming what items were taken.
