TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Computer systems were down at the Consolidated Dispatch Agency Tuesday morning.
Steve Harrelson, the interim director, confirmed that they were hand writing 911 details from callers, then calling ambulance locations and telling them location and call information.
The system has since been restored.
He says this has happened before and the hand written format is the default system in place.
There were no changes in response time.
