TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee community is showing support for the families of fallen police officers with the Flying Bear "Give Back" fundraiser in Tallahassee.
Organizers say the business shared a portion of profits made on Thursday with them.
Residents enjoyed a meal while a portion of the proceeds went to the Police Unity Tour "Team Tallahassee."
The "Police Unity Tour" is a 3-day-long bike ride from Virginia Beach to Washington D.C., all in an effort to remember officers who died in the line of duty.
Tallahassee police officer Dave Northway says it's a small thing they do for the family, but it helps let the families of the fallen officers know that they are not alone.
Funds raised for the "Police Unity Tour" go to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington.
