MOULTRIE, GA -- A reward is now being gathered, in hopes of finding of the person responsible for the death of a 68-year old Moultrie woman, more than a week ago.

The reward money will go toward finding whomever is responsible for shooting and killing Mattie Harris on the front porch of her home.

Harris was found dead Tuesday, July 11th in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue Northwest. Moultrie police officers arrived to the scene around 7:15 that morning.

Harris’ daughter, Joyce Green, says her mother was nice to everyone and they won’t stop until they get justice. A group of pastors with the Home Mission Baptist Association is now collecting money to go towards offering a reward in this case.

They will be collecting funds until Sunday, July 30th and they will announce an amount to the community.

If you want to donate to the reward fund, call 229-782-5023.
