TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Community leaders and dignitaries shed their everyday roles to entertain in support of local breast health efforts.
The fifth-annual Rock the Pink Lip Sync performances took place at the American Legion Hall at Lake Ella Sunday evening.
Sixteen skits were featured, starring groups and individuals lip-syncing a number of familiar tunes during their acts.
WTXL ABC 27 Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse graced the stage for the third year in a row, putting his version of the theme from the classic TV show "The Greatest American Hero" on display while dressed in a fitting form of the protagonist's uniform.
Other activities at the event included a bake sale and a live auction. The show benefits the Tallahassee Memorial Sharon Ewing Walker Breast Health Center and their work to fund mammograms and related transportation for low-income women in the capital area.
