TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The community came together for a very special homecoming for Cam Brown.

Friends, family, and loved ones packed The Moon in Tallahassee to remember and celebrate the life of Super Cam.

After a tough battle with cancer, the Florida High grad passed away just over a week ago.

In his 18 years, Cam Brown inspired everyone lucky enough to know him.

His relentless positive showed even today because Cam didn't want a funeral, he wanted a party.

That spirit, his smile, and his legacy will continue to live on.

"I'm kinda glad that we're doing this instead of a funeral because like this is what he would have wanted. Like he wasn't necessarily a party animal but he was a guy who always wanted to have fun and smile. So like this represents him in the best way possible so this leaves a good taste in my mouth at least," says Jemel Fanfan, one of Brown's wrestling teammates.
