VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--The new Valdosta High School is getting closer to becoming a reality.
A meeting to inform the public about the VHS project is set for next week. The construction management firm for the new Valdosta High School, JCI-Parrish, will host the community meeting Monday, July 27 at 6 p.m. at the Valdosta City Schools Teaching and Learning Training Center at Valdosta Early College Academy.
The purpose of the meeting is to also inform local and minority construction businesses about the project. During the meeting members of the team will review bidding procedures, explain the pre-qualification process, and discuss the tentative schedule.
