TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The community is gathering to remember a fallen Leon County Sheriff's deputy with an honor ride.
The Tallahassee Jeep Club is putting together a honor ride to remember fallen Leon County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Smith.
They have asked that participants remember that the ride isn't solely about Smith, but about remembering the sacrifices these men and women in law enforcement have made to keep the community safe.
Organizers said that they will meet at the The Village Commons at Thomasville Road & Village Square Blvd at 7 p.m.
The group will leave for the ride at 7:30 p.m., and travel to the the LCSO fallen Deputy Memorial at the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
