Community forum set to prepare students for the SAT and ACT

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Chiles High School and SolutionSkills of Tallahassee are co-sponsoring a very special event called A Community Forum on the SAT & ACT: A Conversation with the Test Makers happening on Tuesday, June 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Chiles Auditorium. 

This forum is designed to help students prepare and understand the importance of SAT and ACT testing. The guest speakers will be corporate representatives of the college boards of SAT and the ACT. 

Mr. Brian Barnes, from College Board’s Florida Partnership, and Mr. Wes Gentry, the state lead officer for the ACT office for North Florida, will be the headline speakers.

These two will also be joined by a panel of educators, a parent, and a student to discuss scholarships and admission information. 

The event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is highly recommended to reserve seating.
