TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- A Local Community Center helped grade school kids transition between new and old schools.
Palmer Munroe Teen Center hosted a School Transition Workshop Saturday to help families of students moving from elementary to middle and middle to high schools.
The workshop featured and covered everything from study and social skills to ensure a successful grade level transition.
Organizers say it is important that the community come together to support these students to make sure everyone goes to the next grade prepared.
The workshop was free and open to the public.
