(WTXL) Fla. - The Judicial Qualifications Commission has recommended that Judge Judith Hawkins be removed from the bench.
The commission posted a letter on the Florida Supreme Court website saying Hawkins has not shown cause as to why she should stay in office. The letter went on to say that not only has the judge shown disdain for the rule of the law, but also a dangerous failure to understand what is required of all citizens, especially judges.
Judge Hawkins was found guilty of running a side business, Gaza Road Ministries, from her office.
