COLQUITT COUNTY, GA (WTXL) - A Newman Park teenager died over the weekend after attending a party with his friends, according to the Colquitt Coroner's Office.
The coroner's office says that 17 year old Fuventino Velazquez Jr. was brought to Colquitt County Medical Center by his friends just close to midnight on Sunday. The coroner says that he was pronounced dead just after midnight.
Alcohol is suspected to be the primary cause of death, according to the coroner. However, the office says that they will not receive the full toxicology results for another 90 days.
According to the coroner, Velazquez's death is considered accidental.
