TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL)- Florida State University Athletic leaders have postoned this Saturdays BCS championship celebration. It was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Assistant Athletic Director, Jason Dennard says it was a difficult decision but there was no other choice because many of the key players are already training for the NFL draft and would not  be able to attend. Dennard says, "They were apart of the championship and they need to be apart of the celebration."

It is not clear when the event will be held. A decision could come later today, if not by Thursday. You can follow the latest developments on WTXL ABC27 news at 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.
