Cold Night Shelters Open Up This Week

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -Temporary Cold Night Shelters are opening up again this week.

Starting Wednesday night and continuing through Friday, The Shelter at the Kearney Center and the Family Emergency Shelter of the Big Bend Homeless Coalition will be open.

Single adults are welcome at The Shelter located at 2650 Municipal Way.

Dinner will be at 7 p.m. and sleeping arrangements will be assigned at 8 p.m. each night.

For families with minors in need of shelter can go to the Family Emergency Shelter at HOPE Community.

That shelter is located at 2729 W. Pensacola Street. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. and sleeping arrangements will be assigned at 7 p.m. each night.

For more information on the shelters or if you wish to donate food, towels, or supplies you can contact the shelters individually.
