TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Another COCA On-the-Go segment, where we are highlighting arts and culture in the community.

This week's segment spotlighted the Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography at Florida State University.

The company is recognized as a major leader in the national field of dance  and provides artists in residence with access to critical resources like state of the art dance and conditioning facilities.

Students benefit from the program by being exposed to a diverse range of innovative artists working on campus.

MANCC And Opening Nights are partnering together to present Pam Tanowitz Dance With Simone Dinnerstein - New Work For Goldberg Variations.

The event is happening on Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Nancy Smith Fichter Dance Theatre.

The ballet is featuring live music from pianist Simone Dinnerstein and the piano will be incorporated into the choreography.

If you would like to find out more about this event, you can go to the COCA's Website.
