TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Another COCA On-the-Go segment, where we are highlighting arts and culture in the community.

This week's edition spotlights Julie Guyot, a full-time studio artist that specializes in ceramics.

She has roots in Illinois, receiving her Masters of Fine Arts in Studio Art in 2008. Guyot enjoys creating beautiful housewares that are handcrafted with a blend of nostalgia and contemporary style.

All of her pieces are made from scratch and are fired 3 to 5 times in a kiln with temperatures up to about 1900 degrees.The one of a kind dishes make every meal a special occasion the entire family can appreciate.

Guyot encourages anyone to come by her studio to purchase these unique pieces and fall in love with these art treasures.
