TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An area organization is doing it's part to help other groups get the funds they need to help the community.
COCA is hosting three 'Grant Writing Workshops' throughout the next few weeks.
The overall goal of the workshops is to assist anyone in the grant writing process so their organizations can get the funds they need. The first session, Friday, focused on the Narrative and Grant Request Detail.
"Anything we can do to help organizations to have access to that funding in order to serve our community is important and it's important for our economy too," said Kevin Carr, Grants and Strategic Partnerships Manager for COCA.
The next session is on May 25 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and the focus will be Budget and Budget Attachments.
