TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Another COCA Connection segment, where we are highlighting arts and culture in the community.
This week's edition spotlighted The Nacirema Society by Pearl Cleage directed by T'Keyah Crystal Keymah. This production is presented by the FAMU Essential Theatre at Charles Winter Wood Theatre.
The play is a charming and witty account of upper-crust African Americans in 1964 Montgomery, Ala. This lighthearted comedy is sure to make the audience laugh.
The performance will run Friday, October 27 through Sunday, October 29.
Tickets for adults are $15 dollars, $12 dollars for senior citizen and FAMU Employee with ID. Students and children tickets are $8 dollars and FAMU students get in free with ID.
