MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - In this segment of COCA Connection, we're talking about a benefit recital for Refuge House of Leon County.

This Sunday, it's all about the music and giving back to an organization that helps so many women in the Big Bend area.

The event? Women in Music and it's benefiting the Refuge House.

The Young-Peiskee Flute/Piano Duo will present a program of striking and beautiful music by female composers in a benefit recital for Refuge House of Leon County.

The program will include works by Lili Boulanger, Mel Bonis, Sofia Gubaidulina, Ellen Taafe Zwilich, and Amanda Harberg.

The recital kicks off on Sunday, June 24 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Christ Presbyterian Church (2713 Bannerman Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312). 

Any donations will be given directly to the Refuge House. The event will be live-streamed as well.
