MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - In this segment of COCA Connection, we're talking about the Sunshine State Ball.

Erica Thaler, with the Council on Culture & Arts, and Tori Cruce with the Junior League of Tallahassee joined us to talk about the black-tie event.

The Junior League of Tallahassee will host the inaugural Sunshine State Ball, Jan. 11, 2019, celebrating everything that makes Florida the best place to live, work and raise a family, along with the volunteer work that strengthens communities.

All proceeds support the Junior League’s mission of improving the lives of children and families.

The black-tie event will host Tallahassee residents and guests from around the Sunshine State, welcoming them to the Capital City to enjoy dinner and live entertainment.

The event will take place at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

An individual ticket cost $250 and VIP tickets cost $350.
