TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - In this segment of COCA Connection, we're talking to Ms. Grow-It-All.

Audrey Post, Chair of the Garden Symposium, joined us in studio to talk about the Goodwood Garden Symposium and Southern Sampler.

This year’s program features Brooks Garcia, a “reformed” high-end, ornamental landscape architect whose focus today is locally-grown, farm to table food. The focus at the event is locally-grown farm to table food.

On Wednesday, April 4, meet Garcia and local landscape expert Frank Douglas in an upscale reception to celebrate the finer side of farm to table.

The reception will also allow attendees to learn about the new garden space planned to honor Clara Jane Smith. That event will start at 5:30 p.m. and will go until 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday, April 5, the mid-day Symposium includes a Southern sampler luncheon with regionally-sourced eats and vendors. The Symposium will take place at the Carriage House Conference Center at Goodwood Museum & Gardens from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Lunch at the event will also include many locally sourced edible delights.

Tickets will be $40 to the general public and $20 for Goodwood volunteers.

You can also purchase a combined ticket for the April 4 reception and the Garden Symposium events for $100. You can purchase tickets here.
