MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - In this segment of COCA Connection, we're talking about a beginners class in fused glass.
Erica Thaler, with the Council on Culture & Arts, and artist Kim Campbell joined us to talk about the Fun with Fused Glass class.
In this one-day class, participants will learn basic techniques for fusing, including jewelry and home decor. They will also get a chance to make two sun catchers and/or ramekins and one pendant.
Glass cutters and eye wear will be provided.
The Fun with Fused Glass event is happening on Friday, August 17 from 6 p.m. to 10 pm. It'll be held at the Lafayette Park Arts and Crafts Center on Ingleside Ave in Tallahassee.
It costs $45 for the two hour class.
