MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - In this segment of COCA Connection, we're talking about Cinnehassee, an Iberoamerican Film Festival.

Erica Thaler, with the Council on Culture & Arts, and Jorge Oseguera Gamba, the Co-director of Cinehassee: Iberoamerican Film Festival, joined us to talk about the film festival.

Cinehassee is an opportunity for the Hispanic Graduate Student Association to share the culture of Hispanics to develop an understating of the diverse global society we live/work in today through the eyes of film.

This year's theme is social and political justice.

The film festival begins Sept. 23 at 5:00 p.m. at the Askew Student Life Center in Tallahassee.

Select films are going to be followed by Q & A sessions featuring a panel of experts.

All events are free to the general public, and the first 20 first attendees get free popcorn.
