TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The race for the White House is getting closer and closer. Donald Trump has his sights on beating Hillary Clinton in the general election, while Clinton has to win the democratic nomination over Bernie Sanders first.
Two Democratic primaries were held this week in Oregon and Kentucky. Bernie Sanders won Oregon by double digits. However, he and front-runner Hillary Clinton were neck-and-neck in Kentucky. Clinton was declared the winner.
With Sanders still in the campaign is his presence in the race distracting Hillary Clinton from focusing on the general election? Or is she having no problem taking on Trump now?
Plus, a new Fox News poll shows Trump and Clinton pretty even in the polls for the general election. Trump holds a slight lead over Clinton 45 to 42 percent.
WTXL ABC27's Jade Bulecza asked political contributor Ed Moore, Ph.D. on what the future of the election holds for these three candidates and what these poll numbers really mean.
