DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton says she's "really offended" by comments from Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee about the Iran nuclear deal.
Huckabee had said over the weekend that the agreement would "take the Israelis and basically march them to the door of the oven" -- a reference to the Holocaust.
Clinton told reporters in Iowa today that the comment should be "repudiated by every person of good faith."
Earlier, President Barack Obama told reporters in Ethiopia that Huckabee's remarks were part of a series of attacks by Republicans on the campaign trail that Obama said would be "ridiculous if it weren't so sad." He suggested that Huckabee is trying to "get attention" or push Donald Trump out of the headlines.
But Huckabee is vowing to stand with Israel to keep Iran from achieving "another Holocaust." And he says what's "ridiculous and sad" is that Obama isn't taking seriously Iran's threats to destroy Israel.
