(WTXL) - The Georgia State Patrol and Governor's Office of Highway-Safety kicked off its "Click It or Ticket" Thanksgiving Travel Campaign on Wednesday.
Their goal is to raise awareness about the importance of highway safety, especially when it comes to wearing seatbelts.
In a rollover crash simulator, they put dummies in the back of a truck to show how easily people can be thrown out.
State troopers say their message is straight forward: buckle up, stay focused and don't drink and drive.
Twelve people died last year in Georgia over the Thanksgiving holiday-travel-period.
So make sure you're buckling up and staying safe.
