TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Saturday was Graduation Day for thousands in the Tallahassee area.

More than 6,000 grads were given their diplomas at Florida State University at three different ceremonies this weekend.

Those who crossed the stage Saturday morning were joined by former FSU head coach Bobby Bowden. He gave the commencement address and received an honorary doctorate.

Our own Christina Reznack, Brittany Klienpeter and Rachel Reinig all turned their tassels as they received their master's degrees.

They say they're so happy that the hard work has finally paid off.

"I'm so excited to be done, but it's been a great two years and I just love Florida State and it's been a really great experience," said WTXL reporter/producer Christina Reznack.

WTXL producer Rachel Reining adds: "The past couple of weeks for me have been quite a whirlwind, but it's going to be nice to graduate and be done with school. I love Florida State more than anything in the world. I was there for six years now between my bachelor's in my master's, so it's just going to be good to finally be done."

A big congratulations to all the grads from everyone here at WTXL ABC 27.
