City of Tallahassee service changes for Independence Day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- There are some changes to services throughout the city of Tallahassee this Friday in observance of the July 4 holiday.

On Friday, StarMetro will operate on a Sunday schedule. It'll also provide free shuttle service between the Koger Center on Capital Circle SE and Tom Brown Park for the Celebrate America festivities from 5:30-11 p.m.

Dial-a-Ride services will not operate on Friday, July 4. If you need to schedule a trip  for Monday, July 7, you need to do that by Thursday, July 3.

The Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center will be closed on July 4, but Animal Control will be available for emergency situations only on July 4 at (850) 606-5800.
