TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - As the community recovers from Hurricane Michael, Tallahassee residents are asked to gather yard debris at the curb.
On Saturday, the City of Tallahassee tweeted more than 4,000 tons of debris left behind by Michael has been collected.
More than 4,000 tons of debris have been collected. The City will continue to pick up & dispose of storm-related debris, including yard waste, demolition & other materials. Customers should expect to be serviced during their designated red/blue week. https://t.co/cZJK60G2el

The City of Tallahassee informed residents on what weeks their route will be serviced on.

The City also said debris should be placed at the curbside or property line in front of your residence away from all obstacles.
Debris should be separated into the following categories: vegetative, construction and demolition, appliances and white goods, electronics and household hazardous waste. Debris removal service will be performed for all citizens in the City of Tallahassee.
