TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The City of Tallahassee says that is closely monitoring the current weather situation and has city crews from police, fire, utilities, traffic engineering, and streets and drainage on standby.

The city says that in case the power goes out due to high winds and downed trees, electric crews will be on duty overnight and ready to be deployed, with extra staffing on call as needed.

If you do experience a power outage, city utility customers can call 891-4YOU (4968) to report power outages and can also report them using talgov.com/you/outage or the city’s free mobile app, DigiTally.

On the app, you can report address impacted by the outage and get updates as power is restored.
