TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The City of Tallahassee is hoping to apply for the All-America City Award.
Each year the National Civic League gives the award to ten communities they feel best exemplify the spirit of grassroots citizen involvement and collaborative problem solving.
City Commissioners will decide in their meeting Wednesday if Tallahassee will submit an application to be considered.
In 1999 the city was awarded this designation.
The All-America Award is the oldest community recognition program in the nation.
