MADISON, Fla.-- The City of Madison celebrated the 2013 Down Home Days. The annual festival on Saturday, April 20 featured a parade, food vendors and craft booths.
The parade began at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Madison and was led by City of Madison Chief of Police Gary Calhoun. There was an estimated crowd of 5,000 people.
The parade featured Madison County High School's Vaquero Guard band, Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS units, military personnel and more. People were also able to enjoy rock climbing and a train ride.
The festival was sponsored by the Greater Madison County Chamber of Commerce.
