TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The City of Tallahassee and Leon County held a joint workshop Tuesday.
One of the topics discussed was whether or not to approve the building of state offices on Barcelona Court in Tallahassee.
According to the owner, the property, known as Barcelona Offices, has been shortlisted by the state for office development. But local lawmakers are worried about the amount of traffic this would cause.
"Few questions were asked other than the issue about the traffic and the impact that's going to have on the area," said Curtis Richardson, who's a member of the city commission. "Other than that, there didn't seem to be any opposition to the request for the comprehensive plan amendment."
Final vote on the proposal will be held in February.
