TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Wednesday in Tallahassee the city gave the community a closer look behind the scenes of different city facilities.
It was all an effort to help them learn more about city operations and services.
Attendees got a tour of the Tallahassee Police Department and the Tallahassee Senior Center.
Tallahassee Mayor John Dailey expressed how uplifting this experience is.
"You walk through the police department and you meet these incredible professionals that serve us and it is an uplifting experience meeting all of the police officers and investigators that's what makes an amazing police department and contributes to our community," he said.
