TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Hundreds of local high school football players packed City Church Sunday for the annual "Team Tallahassee" event.
The players enjoyed a dinner, trivia games and a former Noles Wide Receiver as a guest speaker.
The head pastor of City Church says this event brings the kids together and helps fierce rivals bond before hitting the grid-iron.
"There is a chance for everyone to come together as one city, to come together at a church which we think is very helpful, and a chance for everybody to see that what we are trying to do in Tallahassee in building young men is bigger than any one particular team," said Dean Inserra, the lead pastor of City Church.
This is City Church's sixth year hosting their Team Tallahassee event.
